This epee has a blade size 3 or 5. It is of good quality, and suitable for beginners and experienced fencers. The blade is covered with an anti-rust coat to prevent rusting for a longer period of time compared to a normal blade. This will be an important consideration for a fencer who lives in a country with a humid climate.

This weapon's blade is not bent at the handle as the angle of a fencer’s weapon's blade at the handle is a matter of personal preference which depends on the individual fencer’s style of fencing and comfort level. Don't forget to bend it or ask your coach for assistance if you are unsure how you should go about bending it.

This weapon's blade is non-FIE. Therefore, check with organizers of international and overseas competitions if FIE blades are required for participation.

Please note that there is no guarantee on the lifespan of blades. It all depends on how the blade is used by the fencer both in training and in fencing.
